At All Points West we have access to a fantastic
range of facilities. Our Sailing school is home to first class,
highly qualified trainers with first class vessels at their
disposal.
We currently have a range of
yachts available to us, including two brand new
Dufour 365s and a Maxi 1100. |

This ocean cruiser indicates

Zapcats
This unique, fully inflated catamaran design
enables the Zapcat to reach extreme speeds. It can out-manoeuvre almost any other waterborne craft, pulling a 'G' in
the tightest of corners. All of this performance can
be handled on and off the water by just two people, as
a complete Zapcat including 50hp engine and accessories weighs just
under 150kg.
But then Zapcats are built for racing, with a tough aluminium
transom, composite spoiler and inflatable tubes manufactured
from the highest quality European PVC fabric. They are
also highly suited to cope with all sea conditions from flat calm
lakes to large surf. |

All of our Zapcats are supplied by Tiger Bay Training and are available for use from Cardiff marina or Swansea bay when booked in advance.

Offices
Our offices are situated
within the prestigious SA1 Waterfront Development,
J Shed.
Classrooms, dedicated to study
with plenty of natural light in these modern designer
spaces with views over the water where practical
sessions take place. Comfortable and relaxing they
maybe but also designed to aid learning with the
latest power point projectors, active white boards,
radar simulators and dedicated VHF training network.
All dietary requirements can be catered for, and
should one need to refresh some sailing kit whilst
on a course, we have a washer/drier available.

On
the water
You could not want for much
else. The area itself has been designated "an area of outstanding
natural beauty" and is not at all congested with
Captain Blythes as are pretty common in some busy
yachting venues.
We have dolphins,
seals, even whales (they are much bigger than you
would expect), along with puffins and gannets galore to
name but a few of what can be seen.

Instructors
All our instructors are
industry qualified and very experienced in their
disciplines, most having a keen interest in water
sports as a recreation. Race days as you can imagine
can become quite competitive.
For RYA yachting courses, a lot
of time is spent with the instructor so we realise
how important it is that they have an amiable disposition
(we have no dyed in the wool, bearded sea dogs (yet)).
For power boat training we have
access to a variety of craft ranging from wet and wild to comfortable
decadence.
Dinghies are taught in the confines
of our marina before progressing onto open water,
at all times safety is
paramount .
